Base pay range A$76.50/hr - A$76.50/hr About the Company Davidson is working with a state government department who are seeking a Senior Project & Change Officer. About the Role You will be working with the ICT Business Analyst for an application uplift project. The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities. Experience in a project and change environment, including scheduling, risk management, reporting, developing and writing communication pieces, and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages would be advantageous. The preferred candidate will know appropriate project management and/or Change management techniques, methodologies, and tools (preferably Agile or Prince2Agile). Key Responsibilities may include: Preparing project plans, reports, briefings and correspondence, including critical project information such as milestones, as needed for senior officers, management, internal and external stakeholders. Identifying risks and issues in relation to the change and implementation phase; maintaining risk and decision registers and developing mitigation strategies to manage or resolve issues. Coordinating and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to validate that new functionality, processes, or changes meet business requirements and user expectations before go-live. Developing training and instructional content, coordinating and facilitating training of internal business users, and writing information guides for external end users of the application. Identifying and mapping key internal and external stakeholders and developing tailored communication plans. This includes designing and delivering clear, consistent communication materials (reports, presentations, updates) while also implementing change management strategies to support the smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies across impacted business units. About you You will have experience in a project and change environment in a similar role. Demonstrated experience within scheduling, risk management, reporting, briefings and correspondence. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. You will be working with a number of different stakeholders.
