About the Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist (AHP1/AHP2) to join our CO-ACT service at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention, supporting patients with complex and high-acuity needs. Working with a high level of independence, you will play a key role in helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life. As an AHP1 Physiotherapist, you will focus on developing advanced clinical skills, while as an AHP2 Physiotherapist, you will further refine your expertise in managing complex caseloads and delivering exceptional patient-centred care. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the efficient and effective management of patient care, ensuring optimal rehabilitation outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities, helping to shape the future of physiotherapy services. About You We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist (AHP1/AHP2) who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team. To be successful in this role, you will have: Qualifications & Knowledge – A recognised degree in Physiotherapy, entitling registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, along with an understanding of evidence-based practice, Work Health and Safety responsibilities, and the broader healthcare system. Skills & Attributes – Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. You will demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to ethical, patient-centred care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Experience – Experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation, or sub-acute setting providing physiotherapy services to adults. AHP2 candidates will also have experience in managing complex clinical situations with reduced supervision and involvement in professional development. Commitment & Adaptability – Physical capacity to meet the manual handling requirements of the role, including out-of-hours work. A willingness to contribute to a 7-day service and engage in ongoing learning and quality improvement initiatives.
