About The Role As an Allied Health Professional working within the Student Support Services School Buy-In team, you will work closely with leaders, teachers, parents, and other allied health professionals to promote the development, learning and wellbeing of children and young people. The specific goals and activities that you will be delivering on are contained within a project plan that is contextual to site need. As a member of Student Support Services and the school team, you will be expected to carry out responsibilities with a degree of autonomy although project oversight and supervision opportunities are provided to you as standard practice. Key Responsibilities May Include Working alongside leadership to review and establish whole of site policies, procedures and practices Identifying, delivering and evaluating targeted intervention programs, either individual, small group or whole of site Delivering coaching and/or professional development for staff Facilitating groups and/or information sessions for students, parents/caregivers Student Support Services are on a cultural response journey, as such we value and prioritise Aboriginal ways of knowing, doing and being. Qualifications Essential: An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership to Speech Pathology Australia.Desirable: Current Practising member with Speech Pathology Australia with Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status.Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration AHP2: $88,255 – 102,240 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading. AHP3: $104,180 - $111,746 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
