You will be joining an international bank as a Senior Manager for the AML/CTF Compliance team within a dynamic, fast-paced and high-performing work environment. About the Role Responsibilities include: Lead the development and implementation of a strong AML/CTF and sanctions compliance framework. Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies, including AUSTRAC. Oversee institutional ML/TF risk assessments and monitor the effectiveness of control measures. Manage and mentor a high-performing compliance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Provide expert guidance on AML/CTF and sanctions-related policies, systems, and regulatory developments. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to embed compliance requirements into operations. Prepare and present compliance reports and management information. Drive AML system enhancements and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations. Liaise with external consultants to ensure successful delivery of AML-related projects. About You You have: 10+ years of banking experience, including 6+ years in AML/CTF compliance. A degree or postgraduate qualification in Banking, Accounting, or a related field. Proven expertise in AML/CTF and sanctions compliance, particularly in multi-jurisdictional settings (desirable). In-depth knowledge of Australia's AML/CTF regime and familiarity with retail and commercial banking products. Strong leadership and people management skills.
