Position Overview: Randstad is currently recruiting for multiple AO3 Service Officers for a role with Queensland State Government based in Ipswich. In this role, you will negotiate appropriate actions to recover outstanding and finalising debts. Ideally you will have a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced and demanding environments. Key Responsibilities: Providing a high-quality customer experience; you’ll approach situations with empathy and resilience. Proactively supporting clients to recover debts. Apply legislative knowledge to make informed decisions. Educate customers on policies and repayment procedures. Handle questions and complaints, escalating when needed, and keep accurate records. We are interviewing for this role ASAP to confirm a 10th of March start date. This is initially a 3-month assignment with the potential to extend. This is a standard full-time working week on a rotating roster between the hours of 8am - 6pm, paying $49.40 per hour plus super. Skills/Experience Required: Prior experience in sales, banking, debt recovery, or dispute resolution is highly regarded. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing complex or sensitive situations. Proficiency in computer systems is a must. Strong interpersonal abilities, with a background in working collaboratively within a team. Experience in interpreting and applying relevant legislation and procedures to ensure compliance. Ability to build relationships and effectively engage with a diverse range of customers. A highly motivated individual, focused on achieving personal goals and actively supporting team success. Able to work on rotating shifts Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. Must be able to pass a criminal history check to be successful for the role. What’s in it for you?
