About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Officer to coordinate and manage the delivery of critical projects within a strategic portfolio. This role involves engaging with vendors, subject matter experts, and business areas to implement new software system solutions effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead project delivery, ensuring successful implementation of new software system solutions. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, consultation processes, records, and registers in line with approved methodologies. Prepare progress reports, correspondence, briefings, and submissions regarding project development and delivery. Review, negotiate, and manage project outputs, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and organisational policies. Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Apply project management techniques, methodologies, and relevant software tools. Conduct risk and issue identification, assessment, and mitigation activities. Document system specifications and provide training on system usage as needed.
