Role: AO8 Program Delivery Manager Rate: $864.32 per day + Super Contract length: 12-month Contract (possibility of 12-month extension) Location: Brisbane City Office Other: Hybrid Working Options (WFH Friday only) I’m excited to share that we are partnering up with a large Queensland State Government client who is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Program Delivery Manager to join their dynamic Accessibility Team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering multi-million-dollar projects. This role offers you the chance to lead a team of professionals in achieving business objectives while ensuring safety, time, cost, and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex programs with multiple internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on enhancing customer experience. As the AO8 Program Delivery Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of allocated projects within a multi-million-dollar program. In this role your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing strategic direction of the program team, developing and implementing strategic plans, managing stakeholder expectations, overseeing resource strategies, among others. Your leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring that all aspects of the program management align with business objectives while adhering to prescribed governance principles. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects through a team of program and project professionals, ensuring safety, time, cost and quality outcomes meet business objectives and expectations. Provide leadership and strategic direction for the whole program team to ensure alignment in program strategy, delivery strategy, project management capability and allocations. Develop and implement a strategic program plan, and monitor and report on program status and outcomes to meet the diverse range of business, client and stakeholder requirements. Lead, embed and assure the department Projects Delivery function prescribed governance, principles, business rules and practices are followed. Perform staff management duties in relation to HR and business requirements, such as on-boarding, performance review, performance management, and identification of team development needs. Ensure stakeholder expectations and multi-disciplinary interfaces are managed including internal delivery, outsourced work, delivery partners, and government agencies. Develop a resource strategy, and oversee and support the Program teams’ resource and capability requirements.
