AOD Case Manager - Calvary Drug and Alcohol - Located in Deniliquin Progress with purpose at one of Australia’s largest health care providers Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment Join a team that is innovative, adaptable and driven to provide quality care About the role This role is based in Deniliquin and will provide an outreach service to mothers and pregnant women with substance use issues. The AOD Case Manager's role includes assessment, care planning, brief intervention, and harm minimisation. The Calvary Women's Wellness and Recovery team are located across the Murrumbidgee Area in key sites including Deniliquin, Young, Wagga Wagga, and Griffith. This position is permanent and hours of work can be negotiated for the right candidate. Your main duties will include: Risk Assessment Case management, care planning, and coordination of services Education, brief interventions, harm minimisation About you Relevant qualifications that support case management and care coordination including Social Work, Nursing Degree, or Diploma in Community Services. Demonstrated experience in psychosocial assessment, case management, and advocacy. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Alcohol and Other Drug issues, and harm minimisation philosophy. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills with the ability to effectively engage with a broad range of clients/community members and stakeholders internal and external. Willingness to complete further study relating to the Alcohol and Other Drug sector. Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence. Working with Children’s check.
