Job Description This is a Senior Marketing role leading a team of market research and customer strategy experts, whose primary purpose is to generate powerful insights that bring SEEK closer to its customers. By doing so, the team enables the business to deliver exceptional customer experiences for both candidates and hirers. What You’ll Do: Design and implement a customer insight strategy that integrates the voice of the customer across the APAC region. Influence key decision-making forums and processes to ensure customer insights are central to business strategies and priorities at all levels. Oversee a diverse portfolio of ongoing, always-on research studies tracking trends across key customer, competitor, market, product, and brand metrics. Collaborate with research agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver insights and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Synthesise and consolidate insights from multiple studies to provide executive-level guidance, ensuring senior leadership has a deep understanding of key customer insights and how SEEK is performing relative to competitors. Oversee SEEK’s APAC-wide Qualtrics platform, ensuring it is effectively used to capture customer insights and experiences across the organisation. Lead and mentor a team of seven individuals, ensuring they have the guidance and resources necessary to succeed and develop professionally. Serve as a key media spokesperson for SEEK, sharing candidate and hirer insights in PR coverage through mass market TV, radio, and print. The team: The APAC Marketing Strategy team is responsible for shaping the overarching marketing and brand strategy, working closely with segment, product, channel, and country teams to ensure alignment with company objectives. The team manages a diverse portfolio of research studies and market/customer-focused data analytics to uncover valuable customer insights, ensuring the voice of the customer is integrated throughout the organisation. Our team members are based in Melbourne, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, providing an international perspective and collaboration across SEEK’s key markets. Qualifications: Extensive experience in market research, customer insights, and strategy development, ideally in a senior leadership role. Proven ability to design and implement customer insight strategies that drive business decisions across a variety of departments. Expertise in managing complex, always-on research studies and leading the development of actionable insights. Strong experience with external vendor and agency management, ensuring the highest quality research outputs. Natural storyteller with strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex insights and share them effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Media experience is a plus, with the ability to represent the company in PR and public-facing engagements. Additional Information: Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
