Senior API Developer | Federal Government | IBM API Connect Only applicants with Australian Citizenship or an active Baseline, NV1, or NV2 security clearance will be considered. Are you an experienced API Developer with expertise in IBM API Connect ? FinXL is seeking a Senior API Developer to join our team and work with a federal government client on a large-scale integration project . This role focuses on API development, system integration, and secure deployment , ensuring seamless communication across complex systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect (Mandatory). Lead the integration of APIs across various platforms, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable API solutions . Implement best practices for API security, governance, and lifecycle management . Support software configuration, release management, and deployment of API-driven solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance on API development methodologies. What We're Looking For Mandatory: Experience with IBM API Connect - strong hands-on expertise in API design and integration. Proven experience in API development, system integration, and microservices architecture . Strong understanding of API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption, etc.). Experience with software configuration, release, and deployment processes. Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and government security frameworks.
