By working closely with health and aged care stakeholders, the organization is committed to improving healthcare outcomes and ensuring high-quality care for all Australians. About the Role: We are looking for an experienced APS6 Project & Classification Officer to join a dynamic team. You will play an essential role in supporting the development and refinement of classifications, specifications, and metadata while contributing to program management and stakeholder relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence national policies and improve healthcare and aged care systems across Australia. Key Responsibilities: Program Management : Facilitate cross-agency collaboration, conduct research, and manage projects through to implementation. Leadership & Accountability : Provide technical expertise, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure the quality and timeliness of outputs. Stakeholder Management : Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet expectations and objectives. Independence & Decision-Making : Work independently with limited direction to deliver high-quality outcomes. Key Capabilities: Program & Project Management : Strong skills in managing programs, planning, and driving successful outcomes. Decision-Making : Ability to make informed decisions while adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication to engage with diverse stakeholders. Work Plan Implementation : Proven organizational skills to prioritize and manage tasks effectively. Clinical Expertise : A clinical background is desirable, particularly for classification development in healthcare and aged care settings.
