A bit about us The Business and Technology Group delivers the corporate functions which support the organisation by providing Human Resources (HR), finance, ICT, and accommodation services. The Human Resources teams provide internal client service and support for workplace relations, workforce reporting, recruitment, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, work health and safety, and staff performance. About you We are seeking an enthusiastic HR professional with experience in workforce reporting, workplace relations, or HR policy. You will ideally have a good level of experience in providing HR advice to managers and employees. You will gather, analyse, and interpret workforce information to create accurate and meaningful workforce reports, and to inform workforce strategies and initiatives. Strong Excel skills, good attention to detail, and an aptitude for workforce reporting are required for this role. Duties of the role The main duties of the Senior Human Resources Advisor include: Providing accurate, timely, and succinct advice on a broad range of HR matters, verbally and in writing. Assisting in the review or development of HR policies and procedures to align with the AIHW’s Enterprise Agreement (EA). Leading the coordination of survey and reporting activities such as the APS Employee Census, gender equality reporting, and the annual APS Agency Survey. Developing and implementing HR initiatives, including improved workforce reporting and HR resources such as intranet pages. Assisting with other reporting functions including drafting Executive Committee and Board papers, annual report content, and Questions on Notice responses. Providing secretariat support to the AIHW’s Consultative Committee.
