Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development)Full time$80,000 to $90,000 base salary About Us The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has been a vital part of the Broome community for over 45 years. As Western Australia’s first remote Aboriginal Medical Service, BRAMS provides culturally responsive primary healthcare and community services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. BRAMS operates a multidisciplinary Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) team that supports children living with disabilities or developmental delays up to the age of 7. This team focuses on holistic care and fostering community connections to deliver meaningful health outcomes.About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicatedFamily Support Worker to join our ECEI Allied Health Team. In this role, you will: Build and strengthen communication between participants, families, and service providers. Support families in accessing Early Childhood Support services, including appointment reminders and health education. Assist in developing culturally appropriate resources in collaboration with the Marketing and Events team. Coordinate care for children and families, ensuring a seamless experience with BRAMS and community services. Deliver individual and group-based programs developed by the ECEI Allied Health Team. Collect, monitor, and record data, maintaining accurate participant records. Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities focused on Early Childhood Intervention. About You We are looking for a motivated and culturally sensitive professional who has: ACertificate III in Individual Support or the willingness to obtain it. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal families and communities. Experience in community-based programs and working collaboratively in a team environment. Why Join Us?
