Job no: 879896Work type: Part timeLocation: Adelaide Metro WesternCategories: Nursing/Midwifery, Aboriginal Health Women’s and Children’s Health Network - Health and Recovery, Trauma and Safety Service (HaRTSS), Cedar Health Service – Port Adelaide 5015 Salary -Classification – RN2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 - $84,870 to $107,279 pro rata Employment Part time (0.6 FTE) - Term Contract (temporary up to 30 June 2025) About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and registered RN2C Clinical Nurse (Aboriginal Health focused role) to join HaRTSS Cedar Health Service in a part time capacity (0.6 FTE or 22.8 hours per week) until 30 June 2025. The Clinical Nurse at Cedar Health Service provides quality consumer-centred, trauma-responsive nursing health care to consumers over 16 years of age, inclusive of all genders who are experiencing domestic and family violence (DFV). You will be predominantly delivering clinical health care, which may include detailed healthcare assessments that can be used in the criminal justice system and referral pathways in accordance with consumer centred care. In this role, you are accountable for your own practice standards and activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff. The Nurse Consultant is part of a dynamic team, carefully designed to deliver high quality multi-disciplinary health care that is coordinated in response to meet the diverse and complex needs of the consumers who are, or have, experienced domestic and family violence. About You To be successful in this role, you should be a Registered Nurse who holds a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years full-time post-registration experience. Your experience should include: Competence in working with consumers experiencing family and domestic violence, community health, or sexual health. Ability to provide specialised domestic and family violence assessment triaging and healthcare such as recording injuries, which may later be used in court. Responding to the health needs of people affected by domestic and family violence in the health service and the ability to provide outreach nursing services in domestic and family violence accommodation.
