Positions Available Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Health Service (DRAHS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP). This role will work closely with the clinical team in the delivery of primary health care. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners play a vital role in the primary health workforce. They provide clinical and primary health care for individuals, families and community groups. They deal with patients, clients and visitors to hospitals and health clinics. They also assist in arranging, coordinating and providing health care within the Dubbo Community. The Aboriginal Health Practitioner will undergo continuous training to fulfil this role. Note: This is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Identified Position authorised by Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, NSW. Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Health Service (DRAHS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of full-time Receptionist. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the clinical staff of DRAHS while ensuring all day-to-day reception duties are completed. You will also be required to contribute to transporting DRAHS patients to and from medical appointments. Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Casual Receptionist. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the clinical staff of GLAMS while ensuring all day-to-day reception duties are completed. Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Casual Maintenance Worker. The Maintenance Worker will actively support the staff at GLAMS and private residences. The successful applicant will be responsible for general maintenance services including minor building repairs and cleaning in line with Company Policies. Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Casual Cleaner. The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleaning of all GLAMS buildings are maintained at accredited standards. Closing on: Friday February 7th, 2025 5:00pm Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Health Service (DRAHS) is seeking to employ a part-time, experienced GP to join our team. At DRAHS we care for the whole community from pregnancy and early childhood, men’s and women’s health, preventative care and health promotion, complex chronic disease management, geriatrics and palliative care. With the support of our nursing staff, Aboriginal Health Workers, friendly receptionists and onsite management team, we pride ourselves in providing high quality medical care for our patients. We are also supported by a visiting dietician, podiatrist, pharmacist, optometrist, audiologist, Cardiologist, Women’s Health and diabetic educator. The clinic also has access to regular telehealth clinics with specialists. DRAHS is a bulk billing clinic, operating between 8:30am and 5pm weekdays with no weekend shifts. On average, GPs are expected to see between 15-20 patients per day. The successful applicant will be offered a generous salary with the option of further negotiations inclusive of superannuation.
