We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as an Officer - Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title Management. About the role As an Officer - Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title Management, you will provide essential administrative and approvals-related support to ensure compliance with the Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title Acts. You will be responsible for engaging with Aboriginal stakeholders, facilitating interactions, and providing expert advice on Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage impacts. Your role will also involve supporting the business in obtaining statutory approvals and maintaining the Corporation’s register of Aboriginal Heritage reports. What the role will involve You will support strategic direction, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives related to Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title management. This includes providing support on projects including inspection of site projects, coordinating meetings, and providing technical support as required. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and corporate policies, you will also play a key role in developing standard documents and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. About you The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary qualification in a related field or extensive experience dealing with Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title matters Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills are essential Proficiency in computing Ability to travel to regional offices If you are passionate about preserving Aboriginal Heritage and engaging with Native Title stakeholders, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
