Position Overview The Aboriginal Wellbeing Project Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Wellbeing Informed Care- Kimberley research initiative in partnership with the University of Western Australia. This position focuses on enhancing the way Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations approach social and emotional wellbeing information within electronic medical records. You will provide essential administrative support and take the lead in developing communications and resources that elevate the project's impact. Working closely with partners from the Kimberley and beyond, the role involves ensuring alignment with cultural safety and Aboriginal Community Control principles. This position contributes significantly to improving the health and wellbeing of Kimberley Aboriginal communities. As the Aboriginal Wellbeing Project Officer, you will contribute directly to improving the way social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) is understood and recorded across Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). We are looking for someone who: Has knowledge of Aboriginal SEWB frameworks and experience in service delivery or related research. Brings experience in supporting projects or teams to meet outcomes. Is skilled in providing administrative support and facilitating effective communication between diverse stakeholders. Is committed to collaborating with Aboriginal communities and ensuring cultural safety. Has experience or interest in resource development and communication strategies.
