SCHCADS Award Hourly Rates range from: $46.69- $50.00 Employment Type: Casual Roles & Permanent Part-Time (24 hours per week) Join a passionate team dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. Your Role As an Accommodation Support Worker , you'll be a guiding presence for clients as they navigate a critical time in their lives. You’ll create a safe and welcoming environment while working alongside our Case Work team to provide tailored support and advocacy. Every shift is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to real change. Your Responsibilities Welcome & Support – Help new clients settle in with empathy and care Ensure Safety & Well-being – Maintain a secure and respectful space Work as a Team – Support Case Workers in delivering personalized assistance Advocate for Clients – Connect them with services and resources Assist with Daily Living – Serve meals, supervise activities, and provide transport when needed Keep Records Up to Date – Maintain case notes and daily communication logs You Will Need A genuine passion for working with people experiencing homelessness Availability for a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings Relevant qualifications (Certificate IV or working towards) or equivalent experience An understanding of Child Protection principles and ROSH procedures Strong decision-making skills in crisis and emergency situations A current First Aid Certificate Experience in accommodation, homelessness services, or hospitality Confidence in using Microsoft Office and client databases A current NSW Driver Licence Apply Now If this sounds like you, don’t wait - apply now .
