Long service thank-you gifts for those who have been with us for 5, 10, 15 and 20+ years The Opportunity: Based in Helensvale as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following: Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home Providing support with hygiene and personal care Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication Meal assistance which may include meal preparation Shift times: Various shifts between 6am to 10pm Active and passive night - 10pm to 6am Additional shifts available in surrounding houses. To be successful in this role you will have: A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support Experience as a Disability Support Worker NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain Able to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon & active nights Mealtime management Manual Handling with hoist transfer experience Complex care experience including bowel care and PEG feeding We’re looking for people-focused individuals who will be able to brighten our client’s days and make a positive impact on their lives!
