Account Director Healthcare / Corporate Communications (Melbourne) Summary: My client is an award-winning communications consultancy firm looking for an Associate / Account Director to support its growing healthcare accounts in Melbourne / Sydney. The agency has a clear career progression and works on integrated marketing campaigns. You will work with clients to make a difference in global health. Responsibilities: Strategize and implement communication plans for the client including content calendar, long-term strategies, and corporate reputation. Develop and oversee communications assets for the target audience including press releases, social media content, and thought leadership. Build and maintain relationships with clients in different segments such as healthcare, nutrition, ESG. Lead and manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical writers, designers, and digital specialists to ensure integrated and impactful campaigns. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and profitable project delivery. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the Business Development team to generate leads and proposals. Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform and advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions. About you: 8+ years of experience in PR/communications (agency required, healthcare comms experience preferred). Excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience in a client-focused role (ideal). Updated with ongoing trends and themes in healthcare communication practices. Professional work ethic and willingness to lead. Mature, driven and can mentor the team to success.
