Job Description About the Role The Account Executive - Collaborate (Sales Hunter) will drive the achievement of revenue targets for software sales solutions from net new customers with a focus on top enterprises. The role is focused on monitoring solutions across ANZ (Australia and New Zealand). This role targets key verticals including Enterprise , Public Sector , and Service Providers , requiring a proactive and strategic approach to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for generating software sales revenue using IR’s proven sales process, as follows: Independently generating sales leads and leveraging leads delivered by marketing, Inside Sales and other channels from new customers Qualifying sales leads by need, budget, timeframe, authority and process Determining requirements through discussions, presentations and demonstrations Constructing and delivering compelling proposals Negotiating and closing sales You are also responsible for: New Business Development: Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities for collaboration monitoring solutions across enterprise, public sector, and service provider segments. Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through direct outreach, channel partnerships (including Cisco, Teams, Microsoft, Avaya, Zoom etc.), and targeted prospecting efforts. Solution Selling: Articulate the value proposition of collaboration monitoring solutions, addressing complex customer challenges and delivering tailored solutions. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Legal, and Presales) and external partners to accelerate deal cycles and ensure successful customer onboarding. Market Penetration: Drive market growth by developing go-to-market strategies and expanding our footprint in critical industry verticals. Customer Advocacy: Build trusted relationships with technical and managerial stakeholders, positioning our monitoring solutions as essential to their collaboration ecosystems. Proven hunter mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets in the ANZ region, particularly within collaboration or monitoring solutions. Deep understanding of Enterprise, Public Sector, and Service Provider environments, including procurement processes and decision-making frameworks. Strong knowledge of collaboration technologies and monitoring tools, with experience selling through or alongside Alliance Partners (e.g., Cisco, Avaya). Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and senior decision-makers. Ability to work cross-functionally to align product capabilities with customer needs and manage complex sales cycles.
