We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in our Torrensville office. In this newly created role, you will provide essential support to our Commercial Manager, handling a variety of accounting tasks, invoicing, month-end reporting, and reviews. Key Responsibilities: Actively support the Commercial Manager in improving business operating efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare and process invoices. Handle postage, programming, and supply reconciliation. Assist with debt collection when required. Manage CPI notifications. Set up and maintain accounts with new vendors. Create purchase orders and process accounts payable invoices. Participate in ad-hoc projects and reporting. Contribute to the overall financial management of the business unit. Process and verify weekly payroll and maintain KRONOS data. Assist with weekly payroll queries and processing leave. Provide support to state-based teams relating to finance functions. Manage invoicing from Prism and MIPS to Oracle ITSS. Assist the Site Manager and Sales teams as required. Key Skills and Personality Traits: Proficiency in accounting systems and programs Intermediate accounting and reconciliation experience Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work autonomously Methodical with an eye for detail Strong customer service ethic and understanding of internal and external customer needs Qualifications and Experience: 4-5 years of accounting administration experience Minimum Advanced Diploma in Accounting Special Circumstances: Motor vehicle license for banking requirements Occasional interstate travel for training Must be eligible to legally work in Australia What we offer?
