About This Position We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant (Fixed Assets & Inventory) to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will be key in managing inventory and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and driving process improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact as the Company continues to expand. Some of the key responsibilities include: Inventory Management Work closely with Accounts Payable and Procurement on purchase orders and inventory purchases. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions. Develop and manage inventory control systems. Conduct periodic physical inventories and cycle counts. Prepare financial reports related to inventory. Audit and adjust inventory figures, recommending solutions for optimisation. Fixed Asset Management Establish and maintain a system of controls, procedures, and documentation for fixed assets. Record acquisitions and disposals of fixed assets. Track and close out project costs in fixed asset accounts. Reconcile fixed asset ledgers with general ledger accounts. Calculate and update depreciation schedules. Conduct financial analysis related to fixed assets and prepare audit schedules. Partner with the business to understand manufacturing pipelines and asset utilisation. We would love you to have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field with 3+ years of experience in a similar role. CA, CPA or other relevant professional certifications are highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proven track record of driving process improvements, implementing best practices, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Highly motivated, accountable, and a proactive problem solver. Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Netsuite, Netassets, Excel, and financial reporting platforms. Willingness to travel to Sydney every six months for inventory stocktakes.
