Job Highlights The primary responsibility of the Accounting Assistant will be to support in the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit cards transactions across multiple business units. Other key tasks include assisting in processes and controls to ensure the timely submission of customer invoices and cash collection, assist the provision of supporting documents to customer invoices and compile and analyse billings and collection data metrics. About you: Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles Hands-on experience raising transactions within accounting/ERP systems Excel skills to an intermediate level Strong analytical skills to problem solve and improve processes High attention to detail Highly organized and ability to meet tight deadlines Clear and confident communicator Strong customer focus Resourceful, team player with willingness to learn and share A Certificate or Diploma in Accounting and/or experience with Workbench and SAP is desirable. Your responsibilities will include: Preparation of Accounts Payable vouchers Assist the issue and cancellation of corporate credit cards Verifying the accuracy of credit card transaction reports completed by cardholders Providing support in responding to queries from internal customers in respect of payables and receivables Providing support in responding to queries from auditors and internal stakeholders Participating in month-end close activities Provide back up support to the Accounts Team leader and team required Assist the Accounts team leader in the preparation and maintenance of process documentation and user guides Continually seek and implement improvements in processes and accounting tools that reduce cycle time, improve productivity and reduce overall cost #J-18808-Ljbffr
