About the Role: WorkPac is currently in search of an Accounts Officer - Assets to join our esteemed client's team based in Port Hedland. This position is Monday to Friday, for a 3-month duration, full time hours. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage asset processing, including acquisition, disposal, and depreciation. Close out capital projects and ensure accurate cost allocation. Assist with asset revaluations and collaborate on costings for capitalisation. Support month-end reporting and asset reconciliations. Provide transactional support and assist with general finance reporting. Maintain system updates and train staff on finance procedures. Ensure excellent customer service and compliance with safety and record-keeping regulations. Skills and Experience: Prior experience in finance or a similar field, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized financial systems. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Relevant qualifications in accounting or a related field (desirable). Local government experience (desirable).
