Job Description

We are seeking a Graduate Accounts Payable Officer to conduct a variety of accounts payable tasks including expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and more. This is an opportunity to reconcile both domestic & overseas supplies in a high-volume environment while gaining exposure to our cloud-based accounting systems. Key Responsibilities Maintain and process supplier invoices, credits, and adjustments. Maintain and control the Vendor database to ensure accuracy and correct payment terms. Control the release of payments to local and overseas suppliers. Maintain and control the processing of staff expense reimbursements, credit card transactions, and vehicle operating costs. Prepare Vendor statement reconciliations for review and approval. Maintain contract and leases register and purchase orders. Support Assistant Accountant as required. Provide backup relief for accounts receivable business critical duties. Attend to and resolve accounts payable queries promptly, and perform ad hoc administrative tasks as directed. About You Understanding and application of basic principles and techniques of accounting. Demonstrated high level of attention to detail. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion. Demonstrated ability to work both as an individual and a team member. Intermediate level of skill in the application of the Microsoft Office Suite.
