The practice was established in 2015 and offers a comprehensive range of services to the community and surrounding suburbs including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT and Interventional Procedures. We are seeking: Nowra Radiology is seeking an experienced and highly organised Radiology Administration Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the office. Key responsibilities include: Managing & training office staff Liaising with the Radiologist, Sonographers & Radiographers regarding patient bookings, referrals and procedures Appointment diary set up and management Staff rosters & leave approvals Medicare & DVA batching & reconciliation Workers Compensation approvals, processing and payments Data Base Management Office accounts The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in administration in a radiology setting, with the knowledge to also fill in and assist in reception if required Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Strong communication and problem solving skills Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare & DVA billing rules and restrictions and the overseeing of upgrades to the database regarding items numbers, fees and legislation. Experience using Kestral Karisma is desired but not essential. How do your skills match this job?
