Hermit Park State School welcomes applications for a temporary part-time (32 hours per week) Administration Officer for a fixed term of 12 months to cover maternity leave. In this role you will be working within a busy work environment providing administrative support for enrolments, accounts receivable, and student attendance. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills. The staff at Hermit Park State School are dedicated, professional, and caring. About The Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee day-to-day operations of enrolments. Coordinate enrolment interviews for the Principal and Deputy Principals, prepare enrolment documentation, and coordinate and assist with enrolment activities for new students. Provide a range of financial administrative activities and operations including data entry, maintenance of financial registers, computing, and clerical support for the effective operations of the office, in accordance with legislative, policy, and procedural requirements. Monitor and update inconsistencies in roll marking and attendance. Generate daily reports on absenteeism, send SMS messages to parents/carers, advise and follow up with teachers, and document relevant information on an Excel spreadsheet and on OneSchool. Provide administrative support including assistance at the student counter. About You Highly desired skills and experience include: Experience with OneSchool and other DoE platforms preferred. Proven ability to work independently and harmoniously within a team environment to achieve quality outcomes. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
