Job no: 893815Work type: Part timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Administration, Business and Management Women's and Children's Health Network, Women’s and Babies’, North Adelaide (5006) Salary/Classification - ASO2 - Administrative Services Officer L2 - $ 58,709 to $63,154 Employment Part time - Ongoing Permanent (0.4FTE) About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Neonatal Services - NICU team as an Administrative Assistant where you will be responsible for: Answering incoming telephone calls dealing with routine patient enquiries in consultation with clinical staff to ensure appropriate information is conveyed or re-directed appropriately. Ensuring admissions and transfers are completed in a timely manner. Providing a high standard of customer service including maintaining appropriate work performance in all associated tasks in accordance with established work practices and procedures. Prioritising work, meeting deadlines, and working in a highly pressured/high activity area. Working collaboratively with other health staff across various professional backgrounds to ensure business needs are satisfied and delivered effectively and efficiently throughout the WCHN. Maintaining patient confidentiality, security of the medical record, and associated patient information by adhering to the principles of release of Freedom of Information. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and to function in and promote a multi-disciplinary team approach. Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff, external agencies, and members of the public, both face to face and over the telephone demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience to set priorities, troubleshoot, work to deadlines, and perform all duties effectively and with a high level of accuracy. Knowledge of office management and administrative procedures and systems. Ability to work without direct supervision, accepting full responsibility for the accurate and efficient completion of each task.
