Administration Officer - Outside School Hours Care The Y Queensland stand together with all people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or belief. We are currently seeking an Administration Officer on a permanent part-time basis to join our team at YMCA Kurwongbah Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. About the role This role will provide administration support to the Kurwongbah service; ensuring the completion of ongoing compliance training are monitored to support the establishment of a high-quality workforce to deliver high quality care and services to the children and families we serve. What will my time look like? In conjunction with the Service Coordinator’s lead, provide administrative assistance in implementing quality OSHC programs for the service Maintaining accurate data of families using QIKKIDS and other programs Development and maintaining effective filling systems including ongoing compliance audits and necessary legislative documents Liaise with Service Coordinator and management to maintain high standards of service provisions First point of contact in relation to email enquiries, phone enquiries Comply with YMCA Queensland’s policies and procedures in relation to work, health and safety and safeguarding young people policy Participate in administrative projects delegated by OSHC management team Am I a good match? Previous Administration experience in a similar setting Demonstrated sound competence in the use of computers and application software packages including Microsoft Office Suite, Enrolment/Booking programs e.g. QIKKIDS, online program documentation platforms e.g. Storypark. Possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card Ability to perform a range of administrative duties with the ability to prioritise work and meet set deadlines Excellent spoken and written communication skills A positive and open-minded attitude, with the willingness to learn and grow in a busy and fast-paced environment Experience in children’s services and/or a not-for-profit environment would be advantageous Knowledge of and compliance with National Quality Framework would be an advantage About the service The YMCA Kurwongbah Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) offers rich, engaging environments for our children to explore, supported by a team that truly cares.
