About the role This is a 12-month parental leave contract. As an Administration Purchasing Officer , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes. You will be responsible for managing the procurement of parts and supplies necessary for our workshop operations while maintaining accurate records. What you will be doing Assisting the Branch and Workshop Manager with assigned tasks and administrative support Quote, order, and verify parts for vehicle repairs and workshop needs Manage invoicing, payments, and insurance paperwork Communicate with assessors and suppliers regarding parts and labour Handle mail, banking, and stationery orders What we are looking for Proven experience in an administrative or purchasing role, preferably within the heavy vehicle industry Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Adhere to workplace policies and WHS standards What we offer Long-term stability and job security.
