Working with us Base salary ranges between $75,090 and $100,227 p.a. (HWF3). For 1 year will get you an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. If you stay for 2 years you will get AUD$10,500… and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will get AUD$7,000. Providing 2 return airfares p.a. About the role Provide cultural support to the Homeless Health Outreach Team (HHOT) under the guidance and direction of the Team Leader and Senior Indigenous Mental Health Workers. This will enhance the HHOT service delivery to address the complex health needs of Indigenous people with a mental illness who may also have a substance abuse problem and who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Requirements Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 , there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification.Certificate IV or Diploma in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care; or Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health; or Certificate IV or Diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs; or Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work. Applicants who do not hold the mandatory qualification requirements, and will commit to completing the qualification(s) within an agreed timeframe if appointed, are encouraged to apply for this vacancy.
