Job details Position status: Fixed Term Temporary Position type: Full-time Occupational group: Health - Allied Health/Clinical Support Classification: HP5 Workplace Location: Job ad reference: QLD/CEQ616410 Closing date: 10-Feb-2025 Yearly salary: Fortnightly salary: $5557.50 - $5798.90 Job duration: Temporary full time up to 31 December 2025 The role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of state-wide workforce strategies and reform activities, to enhance the capacity and practice of the allied health workforce and to improve service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Queensland. The successful person You will have: Comprehensive understanding of First Nations health and wellbeing, and the challenges and opportunities for health service delivery, workforce development, education and training in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Demonstrated advanced level clinical knowledge and experience in delivering multidisciplinary allied health services supporting and contributing to improved health outcomes of First Nations peoples. Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and ability to manage successful outcomes in complex projects and initiatives. Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative advice to senior management on a range of complex workforce planning, reform and research issues.
