About the Role As an Advisor Business Banking Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping to deliver the Business Banking’s capability strategy, coordination of capability needs across Business, training delivery, coaching and projects. This will provide Business Banking’s people with access and pathways to build the right capability to meet customer, regulatory and performance expectations. You will work with key stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain learning solutions that provide best practice training and support tools across all Business Banking lines of business. You will also manage the delivery of effective performance frameworks for Business Banking including enhancing the capability of our people through the delivery of sales and service frameworks expertise including: Connect Performance Framework Conversation Model skill building and continuous improvement initiatives Skill building and continuous improvement initiatives Role Type: PermanentRole Location: BrisbaneWork Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) What will your day look like? As an Advisor Business Banking Support Specialist, you will: Assist in the analysis of key risk, sales, operational trends, quality measurement and first-time right reporting across Business Banking to identify capability requirements and gaps and work with Business Banking Leaders and other departments to implement short and long-term strategies that improve performance and customer experience Formulate training recommendations taking into consideration the best delivery option, costing, available resources, and impact to cross-functional areas Assist with the design of implementation approach for agreed learning solutions that support current and future business needs and provide significant people capability, customer, and performance uplift working with Bank L&D where required Work with Bank L&D to develop required capability collateral and modules for all parts of Business Banking including learning content and support tools Help with the alignment and efficiencies across the learning journey, pathways, technical modules and programs of work to deliver improved capability, technical knowledge, and productivity Undertake the review and evaluation of learning offerings to demonstrate effectiveness of learning and quantify business value delivered Understand the demand for onboarding across Business Banking and work with stakeholders (including Bank Learning & Development) to improve the speed to competency for new starters through improving course content, stand-alone modules, leader-led onboarding and frequency of delivery Assist with the design and development of learning dashboards Deploy a range of facilitation styles and instructional techniques (as required) to create the right engaging learning experiences to meet business need and situation Connect learning solutions to functional/business strategy and employ a strong customer-focused approach Maintain currency and accuracy of subject and business matters as well as facilitation skills and program content What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within Banking, Insurance or Financial services Demonstrated experience in learning disciplines applying adult learning practices Strong communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business Proficient presentation skills: creating and delivering presentations including the ability to facilitate and engage with audiences. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think laterally and the flexibility to work in an environment of constant change Well-organised, able to manage and prioritise a large and fast-moving workload, coordinating and delivering multiple simultaneous initiatives Goal-driven with experience working towards developed plans and targets. Experience managing projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders will be highly regarded You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
