About us Queensland Hydro was established by the Queensland Government to deliver long-duration pumped hydro energy storage projects so we can transition to a stable renewable energy future. Pumped hydro energy storage has a critical role in helping to meet the Queensland Government’s renewable energy targets and Australia’s Towards Net Zero goals by 2050. Queensland Hydro’s proposed pumped hydro energy storage projects can deliver the ultimate assurance for the State’s energy transition and play a defining role in securing a stable transition to renewable energy. The role The Advisor, Social Performance and Reporting, will develop and implement Queensland Hydro’s reporting framework that tracks and evaluates stakeholder engagement, sentiment, and social performance activities. The role involves the creation and ongoing maintenance of key reports, along with delivering insights to drive continuous improvement across the organisation. The role is responsible for managing Queensland Hydro’s stakeholder management database, training and supporting users, and identifying early issues identification and risk management through data analysis and insights. The role will support the Stakeholder Engagement and Social Performance team in the delivery of sentiment surveys and data analysis. It also plays a key coordination role in providing analysis and stakeholder reporting across the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement function and the organisation more broadly. In this role you will: Develop a comprehensive social performance reporting framework on engagement and social performance activities, ensuring metrics align with the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy, the Social Performance Strategy, and regulatory reporting requirements. Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards that monitor key stakeholder engagement, stakeholder sentiment, and communication metrics and deliver insights for continuous improvement and strategic development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, consultants, and contractors to collect and analyse data on stakeholder interactions and social performance outcomes, ensuring integration into business processes. Manage and maintain the stakeholder management database (Borealis), ensuring data integrity and compliance. Deliver training across the organisation to stakeholder management database superusers. Deliver insights from the stakeholder management database for early issues identification and risk management. Support the Engagement Lead to ensure governance processes are in place for complaints management and support in auditing data for adherence to policies. Support the Engagement Lead in delivering annual sentiment surveys and analysis of data. Build and sustain positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all engagement activities are carried out in accordance with standards, policies, and practices, particularly those relating to workplace health and safety, environmental, cultural heritage, purchasing, and contract administration. About you To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess: 3+ years' experience working in a performance reporting role, preferably in a communication and stakeholder engagement team. An understanding of stakeholder engagement principles and social performance frameworks. Proficient in database management, especially with stakeholder relationship management systems such as Borealis. Understanding of how stakeholder engagement metrics and social performance data integrate into broader business processes and decision-making. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills, including experience engaging constructively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Well-developed computer skills, including demonstrated experience with stakeholder relationship management databases and the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant software packages. Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related discipline or equivalent. IAP2 engagement certification. Why Qld Hydro?
