Location: Zetland (Hybrid) Please note that due to the max term nature of this role, successful applicants will be engaged via a Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) approved agency partner and not via VGA directly. About your new Role The Aftersales Operations Specialist supports the Aftersales team to ensure our group brands, dealers, and customers receive the highest level of information and programs that help to maximise the performance of the dealer network. As part of the role, you will work with group departments and field force on a daily basis to gain market information that will help support programs to improve dealer and customer satisfaction. The role reports to Planning & Pricing Manager of Group Aftersales, and is responsible for maintaining reports, as well as monitoring the various group service programs including network capacity topics. Your main responsibilities will include: Liaise with dealer network to ensure system/program setup (logins etc.) Assist with dealer inbox queries and prioritisation of tasks from dealer enquiries and responses Source relevant dealer, customer, and market data in conjunction with Aftersales field force Achieve reporting KPI’s within reporting timeline and produce ad-hoc reports & in-depth insights as required by the business, ensuring data accuracy and communication is provided and identify areas for improvement Prepare business forecasts on a regular basis & assist in planning round & business reviews and simulations Support & maintain dealer target methodology & results and review and support dealer bonus process Utilise & develop BI tools & applications such as Qlik, Excel, PowerPoint etc. to improve efficiencies and data accuracy Assist dealer network to achieve performance objectives and identify opportunities to prepare dealer network for car parc growth and customer retention Identify areas for improvement for individual dealers or the broader network as required Support Loyalty programs – including Careplans by providing insights and finance reconciliation Report on Dealer Service Loan car Positions regularly and provide insights on dealer utilisation and best practice About you To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, automotive technology, or a related field desirable Knowledge of dealership or a business environment Good advisory, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Practical problem-solving skills with an operational focus High attention to detail and time management skills Strong IT systems knowledge, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions and reporting, with a focus towards service operational data Our Benefits, Rewards and Recognition include: A culture of continuous learning, growth, and development.
