Aged Care / Disability Trainer Certificate III to Diploma Auctus Training Institute is a progressive, fast-growing RTO based in South Australia committed to providing quality training services to the Aged Care / Disability sector. We require an experienced industry candidate who is passionate about making a difference in the Community support sector. We have a full-time position Due to increased demand for our courses, we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Trainers/Assessors who have the flexibility to train and assess in various Community Health Care courses. CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability and Aged Care) CHC43121 - Certificate IV in Disability Support CHC52021 - Diploma of Community Services Tasks & Responsibilities Provide training that engages and supports the student to progress through their course so that they successfully complete the training. Assist and address the varied learning needs of each student including language, literacy, and numeracy. Provide relevant feedback to students in a timely manner and arrange for remedial action to be taken. Carry out workplace assessor visits for our students on placement. Completion of training and assessment activities, as well as entering records, within specified timelines regarding training results. Adhere to Auctus' policies and procedures. Candidate Qualities for the Role At least 2 years experience working in the aged care and disability sector. Commitment to client-focused service. Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals with well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work to tight timelines and make informed decisions with limited supervision. Skilled in Office Suite programs and the ability to learn using our student management systems. Work independently and have sound organisational and administrative skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible with people with the ability to build strong connections. Undergo a criminal history check, be able to complete a Working with Children check, and hold a current driver’s licence. Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and some flexibility for evening classes as required. An appropriate qualification and industry currency. A current TAE qualification (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or currently enrolled.
