Analyst, Client Acquisition See yourself in our team Our Business Banking (BB) business serves over 10,000 clients in the medium to large business segment across Australia, with complex financial needs and turnover between $10m to $500m. We are committed to understanding our clients, and delivering insights and creative solutions, to drive sustainable business growth. The Client Acquisition team leads opportunities for new mid-market customers in diversified industries with both private and small/medium public companies. We are focused on originating and on-boarding new-to-bank customers with lending requirements usually ranging from $10m - $50m, in addition to leading transactions where clients are undertaking M&A or other material corporate activity. Once a transaction is completed and the client is on boarded, the ongoing management of the client is transferred to the Relationship Team so the Client Acquisition team can focus on the next transaction. Are you currently writing complex credit papers and consider yourself highly skilled in cash flow analysis? You will support a dedicated team of Executives in analysing, structuring and modelling complex financing solutions in order to achieve overall team targets and business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to more complex corporate banking deals, work in a strong and successful business, and gain some outstanding exposure to deal flow in the Mid-Market segment. More specifically, you'll: Assess the viability and coordinate the execution of transactions; Conduct credit analysis, financial modelling, and produce credit applications; Support the Client Acquisition and wider BB relationship teams on specific finance transactions through structured credit and financial modelling; Prepare and present pitches to potential clients including board level, business owners and senior management teams. We want to hear from you if you: Have experience in considering business and market risk, writing and analysing credit transactions; Possess strong Excel skills and experience in financial modelling; Can quickly grasp complex transactions, and ideally have previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk experience; Have an analytical mind with strong relationship management skills; Are experienced with legal documentation; Demonstrate commitment to team success, goal orientation with a can-do attitude; and Hold a tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce, which would be highly regarded.
