Our Client A progressive mining company with high-quality operating assets throughout Australia. They have ambitious growth plans over the next 18 - 24 months with several strategic initiatives and increase in group production. The Opportunity As Corporate Development Analyst, you will be reporting to and supporting the Head of Corporate Development on day-to-day activities and working closely with the CEO. This is an exciting time to join the business, where you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to contribute to the company's future growth and success. In this role you will be responsible for conducting research and valuation analysis to provide key decision makers accurate and reliable data to support the execution of the company's growth strategy. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducting market and peer research to support company growth strategy Providing financial analysis, modelling and evaluation of growth and other initiatives Assisting with the execution of growth transactions, including engagement working with multiple stakeholders, due diligence, financial modelling and valuation Assisting with drafting of internal memoranda, presentations and board papers supporting project evaluation Collaboration with internal teams including Finance, Commercial, Legal, Exploration and Mine Planning Assisting with the integration of acquisitions and joint ventures About You The ideal candidate will have proven experience with financial modelling (valuation methodologies), with M&A transaction experience in the mining sector within a similar role and/or corporate advisory; investment bank, big4 accounting firm (M&A or Valuations teams only). You will bring relevant skills and have a genuine desire to contribute to the success of this growing business. Please note: only candidates with direct M&A mining transaction experience will be considered.
