High Growth Energy Transition energy generator and energy retailer. Institutional investor base. Strong mandate for growth, and to transact. Our client is a fully integrated energy transition conglomerate offering rooftop solar/battery and 100% renewable energy retail, or a fully integrated solution for medium to large scale real estate/property owners. The company offers its clients 1) lower energy prices 2) predictable monthly energy bills 3) 100% renewable energy offering. The demand has been significant and the company also leverages its large institutional investors integrating their offering across large (and growing) real estate and infrastructure asset holding. The outcome of this has been an exciting, high growth business, that is currently increasing headcount 10% every 6 months. This company will also look to expand its offering via M&A. Role Overview: Corporate Development/Capital Transactions Analyst - to assist organic growth deals and M&A. Primary Objective: The Analyst will contribute to growth by analysing and executing development opportunities. This role involves analysing financial transactions, conducting due diligence, and preparing financial models and projections to provide recommendations to senior management. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain detailed financial models for investment and development opportunities. Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor assessments. Support due diligence processes for potential M&A. Prepare and present Institutional Investment Committee documents. Assist in asset management and development matters, including internal valuations and budgeting. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Finance/Commerce or a related field (minimum degree level). 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, renewables development investing, project finance, deals modelling or other modelling divisions with a focus on infrastructure/renewables or real estate development. Proficiency in financial modelling and strategic analysis.
