You'll work closely with the Manager to mitigate the risk of settlement failure, monitor transaction queues and operational incidents.What you'll be doing: Enter Treasury related transactions initiated by dealers into relevant internal/external systems. This may involve Money Market, FX or Derivatives items. Sort and distribute maturing corporate deals to dealers for instructions. Confirm transactions and instructions with counterparties and follow up on outstanding items. Check dealing evidence and SWIFT confirmations (MT320 / MT399). Check and authorise STP deals, book transfer and trades in the external matching/settling system. Release STP payment order for Corporate and Interbank Money Market transactions. Prepare/dispatch 11AM Notice and Term Deposit Confirmation to corporate customers/process FX or Derivative documentation and transactions. Prepare SWIFT messages via BESS and monitor confirmation matching. Ensure timely and accurate payment/settlement of Treasury products, observing the established cut-off time for the relevant currencies and locations. Ensure the efficient settlement in Austraclear, RITS and NZClear. Reconcile funds received to settle all settlements and investigate unallocated and/or non-received funds. We are looking for: Ideally, you will have 1 year's experience in FX settlements or a similar or related role within Treasury Operations.Experience with Austraclear and/or Swift would be highly advantageous, but not essential.You must be able to work under pressure, with good time management skills and attention to detail.
