Antenna Engineer Key Role: Possesses experience in developing electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems and works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members. Has expertise and experience in performing research, antenna design, creating prototypes of designs, making development schedules, assisting with creating budget proposals for development projects, and other ground-based aperture (GBA) support. Has expertise with antenna theory, antenna design, satellite modems, and antenna hardware components. Complete tasks such as technical support for antenna hardware installation, alignment, modeling and configuration, calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Basic Qualifications: Experience performing research, antenna design, creating prototypes of designs Experience making development schedules, assisting with creating budget proposals for development projects, and other ground-based aperture (GBA) support Knowledge of antenna theory, antenna design, satellite modems, and antenna hardware components Ability to support hardware installation, alignment, modeling and configuration, calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience as an Antenna Engineer or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience as an Antenna Engineer Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD).
