Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and ethical Engineer to join our team in the above-ground storage tank industry. The role involves interpreting designs, performing modeling and drafting, developing 3D models, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards. The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Engineering, 0-3 years of experience, and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor. Essential Functions: Support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” Represent the Company with high moral standards, adhering to the “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” Interpret designs or drawings for crafts installing material. Perform design, modeling, drafting, and some analysis work for above-ground storage equipment products, including Geodesic Dome Roofs, Aluminum Floating Roofs, Floating Suction Lines, External Floating Roof Seals, and Drain Systems. Develop design sketches, 3D models, and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor with the help of Senior Engineers. Collaborate with Senior Engineers to write or edit iLogic programs in Autodesk Inventor. Work on special projects assigned by supervisors or other Engineers. Review detail and erection drawings developed by the drafting group. Abide by all Quality Assurance requirements (ISO9001:2015); ensure all quality procedures are executed. Occasionally prepare cost estimates and quotations for customers. Liaise with customers on technical inquiries. Perform other related duties as directed. Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Engineering required. 0-3 years of experience. Basic knowledge of strength of materials, stress analysis, and structural engineering. Design experience in API 650 and other standards related to the above-ground storage tank industry is an asset. Advanced knowledge of strength of materials, stress analysis, and structural engineering. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to cooperate with team members and interact professionally at all organizational levels. Excellent listening, oral, and written skills.
