Job Description
Meriton has designed, developed and built close to 80,000 award winning apartments and some of the tallest residential towers across the east coast of Australia. Meriton offers sales, leasing and property management services, as well as the luxury hotel accommodation brand Meriton Suites with 23 locations nationwide. We are seeking an Architectural Technician with 6+ years' experience with exceptional technical and REVIT skills on large, multi-residential and mixed-use buildings , to join our existing team of Architects to work on current and new developments. This is a full-time position in our Sydney CBD office and will primarily be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate documentation for construction. To be successful in the role, you will have: Strong planning controls, building regulations (NCC, AS, etc) understanding and construction technical / detailing skills. Strong understanding of Design and Building Practitioners Act Tertiary Qualification in Architecture Demonstrated experience on large, multi-residential and mixed-use projects Ability and experience in working across all phases / facets of project delivery Proven strength in careful, considerate delivery of design and documentation in all phases of project delivery Organisational skills and able to shift priorities quickly Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment and manage expectation for project team and stakeholders. Strong REVIT documentation proficiency with ability to deliver documentation under tight timeframes Ability to deliver and manage builder expectations with close contact with site project delivery team, contractors and internal management team Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills Interpersonal skills with an ability to work well in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams BIM lead experience in multi-res projects preferred Meriton provides an exciting and dynamic work environment, with the opportunity to work on some of the most significant and exciting large scale projects in Australia.
