They are now growing their business and require an Area Account Manager to drive, grow and develop accounts within commercial and residential industries. ROLE As the Area Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, work to grow and develop those relationships, and play an active role in securing new business within your area. The role offers strong career growth potential, with opportunities to take on more responsibility. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact on the business by nurturing existing relationships and expanding your territory. DUTIES Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts while growing the portfolio with new clients Support business development initiatives by working closely with the BDM and sales manager during the first few months Research additional business opportunities where you can grow new accounts Provide sales support to clients by responding to inquiries, managing quotes, and closing deals Provide exceptional service to clients by proactively solving problems to enhance their experience Grow and develop fabricator accounts within the commercial and residential sectors Build, develop and grow a strong project pipeline of specifications Collaborate with the marketing team to grow sales SKILLS & EXPERIENCE MUST have Previous sales or account experience within building/construction Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly, adapt, and move forward from mistakes People-focused with excellent rapport-building skills Have a natural ability to open doors, grab every opportunity and make things happen!
