If you’re a fast and confident painter with experience in art installations, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and career within a dynamic and evolving creative business. About the Role As an Art Assistant, you will work alongside our lead artist on various installations, mural projects, and temporary art removals. Work will be project-based , with opportunities to be involved in Christmas and Easter installations (as well as removals), mural work, and additional design tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, eager to grow, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assisting with mural (wall) installations and window art installations Supporting the removal of temporary art installations Painting efficiently with precision and speed Working outdoors for extended periods in different conditions Collaborating with the team to complete projects on time What We’re Looking For Experienced in painting – confident, fast, and precise Installation experience preferred (murals, signage, large-scale painting or acrylic) Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Portfolio with specific examples of relevant work (murals, sign writing, window art preferred. Acrylics considered also) Can-do attitude – takes initiative and works well in a team Looking to grow their career and develop within Awol Creations Comfortable working outdoors all day in varying weather conditions Must Have to apply Car and license Candidates may be asked to complete a 5-minute painting trial during the interview process.
