About this position The City is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Arts and Programs Officer to lead the delivery of arts initiatives and events for the vibrant local community. In this role, you will Coordinate the delivery of art programs, events and initiatives, including the City's art exhibitions Assist with the delivery of the City's Programs and Events Manage the City's art collection Provide specialist arts advice to key stakeholders Oversee public art commissions What we are looking for To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate: Hands-on experience in coordinating community-based arts programs and events Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines Ability to work effectively as a team member Current driver's licence First Aid certificate National Police Clearance (no more than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition. This is a physically demanding position requiring manual handling. Applicants may be required to undergo a medical assessment to determine their fitness to carry out the duties of this position.
