About The Opportunity As an Asset & Inventory Controller, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory and asset systems. Based in Seven Hills, this is your opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic organisation where your skills and expertise will make a real impact. What You’ll Be Doing Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock counts with system reports. Manage stocktakes (annual, monthly, and rolling counts). Analyse stocktake results and recommend improvements. Conduct and implement internal procedure audits. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Review stock demand and adjust forecasting. Optimise inventory levels without affecting customer supply. Investigate and resolve stock anomalies. Communicate recommendations and improvements to stakeholders. Follow inventory management procedures to drive process efficiency. Review and manage slow-moving, low-turnover, and obsolete stock data. Support the team with other ad hoc duties as needed. What We’re Looking For Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in asset/inventory management or demand planning. Demonstrated experience in asset and inventory management. Background in logistics operations. Proficient in advanced Excel functions and proficiency with inventory systems. Expertise in asset control and demand planning. Skilled in fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong capabilities in forecasting and strategic planning. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation abilities. Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
