Career Opportunities: Inventory Controller - VIC (14928) Requisition ID 14928 - Posted - Australia - Moorabbin - Manufacturing & Logistics - Permanent An exciting opportunity has become available in our Ingredients Warehouse for an Inventory Controller. This role will see you play a key part within the wider inventory team and be working closely with national and state teams to ensure sourcing, capacity and storage strategies are executed perfectly. What you will be doing… Monitor and maintain accurate records of ingredient stock levels. Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies (SOX compliance). Ensure inventory aligns with production schedules and demand forecasts. Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of ingredients. Communicate with suppliers about lead times, delays, or quality concerns. Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of ingredients. Ensure proper storage conditions for ingredients, adhering to food safety and quality standards. Provide input on improvements to inventory tracking and reporting processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and industry standards. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data and documentation. Address and resolve inventory-related issues promptly. Let’s talk about you… At least 3 years previous experience in FMCG or similar industry controlling inventory or purchasing. Understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP). Business Systems Aptitude – WMS, Planning (APO), SAP ECC. Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Business administration and personal organisation skills.
