Assistant Director, Taxation and Governance SupportFull-time Permanent Details: Are you passionate about Governance and Tax? If so, a wonderful opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated Governance and Tax professional to join our dynamic team. The Shared Services Finance branch is a customer focused business unit providing high-quality services for ACT Government directorates. These services include financial accounting and reporting, taxation support, banking and business intelligence services, accounts payable, accounts receivable and debt management. In this role you will be responsible for undertaking and supporting a range of Taxation services across the ACT government and Governance for Shared Services. You will be someone who is committed to high quality customer service, able to work cooperatively within a team environment, and a strong and clear communicator. You will have strong time management skills, great attention to detail, and be able to effectively prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment. To be successful in this role you should have a strong understanding of interpreting various legislations, Taxation Law and practices that underpin a successful delivery of Taxation support services, Compliance and Governance. Previous experience in this field will be highly regarded.
